CONFESSION

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Glory be to God on high.
And on earth peace towards men of good will.
We praise thee.
We bless thee.
We worship thee.
We glorify thee.
We give thanks to thee for thy great glory.
O Lord God, heavenly King
God the Father almighty.
O Lord, the only-begotten Son Jesus Christ.
O Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father.
Thou that takest away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us.
Thou that takest away the sins of the world, receive our prayer.
Thou that sittest at the right of the Father, have mercy upon us.
For thou only art Holy. Thou only art the Lord. Thou only art the Most High.
Thou only, O Jesus Christ, with the Holy Ghost, art Most High in the glory of God the Father. Amen.


TIME FOR SILENT RELFECTION AND CONFESSION


O God, We come to celebrate that your Spirit is alive and
present all around us and within us. Forgive us when we
ignore its life and power. You bring us hope for today and
tomorrow. Forgive us for dwelling on mistakes of the past.
You love each one with passion and special fondness. Forgive
us for believing we are not good enough to deserve your favor.
Help us to live more fully in the joy of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

FORGIVENESS

Almighty God, our heavenly Father, has had mercy upon you, has given his only Son to die for you, and for his sake forgives you all your sins. To whoever believes in Jesus Christ, he gives the power to become the children of God and bestows on them the Holy Spirit.
